Firstly, V day is still over rated. It must be some sort of marketing scheme which people can legally selling roses are 4 times the normal rate, restaurant coming out with ridiculous menu for the couples.

And no, I am not being bitter, in fact, although I am single, I celebrated it with some other single female. And heck, the restaurant we have eaten even give a complementary rose! Ha! Bet you pitiful BFs got forced into getting a bouquet for flower felt the pain in the wallet.

Secondly, Pink Panther 2 is fail. Utter rubbish. Don't waste your time, money and brain cells. I don't usually complain about how good or bad a movie is, but this time I really have to. It is way worse than you don't mess with the zohan. That is how bad.

Thirdly, I am addicted to 方大同's song. It is made of win.

Well, 2008 is not technically over yet... But it is about time to do a review, again.
After looking back at the resolution I had the beginning of the year, it was found that I had pretty much screwed up, again.

Not that I have any thing to blame on, but this year is kind of bad for me. Things changes dramatically and so many events unforeseen. Tired, but after all, this is just parts and parcels of life.

Lets see, I broke up with my almost-5-years GF. I guess we grew up and goals changes, sparks no longer bright and things do go our way any more. I guess leaving each other is better than force ourselves to go on.

I sold Ariena, reason being she's old and worn and my company is offering a car. Guess it's time to lose her too.

I got myself another gf which is now in the "It's complicated" stage. Well, what to do?

Working environment has change since a change of colleagues. There isn't a direct definition of good or bad, but well, who moved my cheese?

I read too much, to the extend of 3 books in a week (while maintaining the normal life of working and grinding). That is where all my spending goes by the way, that concludes why I am so broke this year. Well indulged in food, book and traveling a little too much. At this time of economy? Ouch.

Guess that is just a way to offset my tough luck this year. A lot of obstacles, a lot. But if it doesn't kill me, it makes me stronger!

I don't think I will write again, at least not for 2008. (I am just being lazy)

No, not your everyday Hip hop and pop.
Check them out. Not some big shot, but definately worth mentioning, because they are just awesome.

1. Asobi Seksu
Dreamy, poppish yet jazzy to a certain extend. A little similar to The Shins but with less guitar. Californian with a Japanese lead singer, kinky. ~(-_-~)

2. Olivia Ong
She has the voice of the jazz angel. Nuff said. Play the song to fall in love with her. Oh yea, did I mention, she's a Singaporean! (and she's hot too!)
Here are some of the youtubes for reference. The voice of the nightingale. *melted*

Fly me to the moon cover.

Appologize cover, wtf, She just pwned one republic.

3. Estrella
Malaysian indie/jazz/alternative band. I am so going to their live show if I know where can my get myself to.
Check them out!

Same song as above, but clearer version.

And now, you know what yanchyuan is up to in his taste of music lately.

Well, you see, girls always think guys are such simple minded sex driven monster eh?
A wink, a handshake, a smile all will be taken into signs of asking us on the bed?

WRONG!

Here is something the XX genes should know:
Girl that plays console game is hot, girls that pwn guys in console game is not.
Girl with cool gadget is hot, girls with cool hand phone is not.
Girl with proportional racks are hot, girls with oversize fat lumps (or another other body parts, as a matter of fact) are not.
Girl that is smart but act dumb is hot, girls that is dumb but act smart is not.
Girl that is wild but controlled is hot, girls that is too conservative is not.
Girl that dress accordingly is hot, girls that dressed revealingly is not.
Girl that exercise is (usually) hot, girls that go on pills and lower food intake is not.
and many more....

Remember I had a resolution back in 2007 about sending less time in front of LCD? Then, I failed by having TWO LCDs?

God, instead of trying hard to cut down exposure to LCD, this is just getting worse. I am now officially facing THREE monitors. One from the dead then revived laptop, one from the LCD, one more from the new laptop MacBook!

Yea yea, you can hate me, but chances is, I will die of LCD radiation overdose anyway(if they do have radiation). Ho ho ho ho ho.

A bigger pic with description of parts. :P

Finally manage to get my laptop back to working conditions, after some accidental repair. After all, to get a 6 years old laptop to work is not that hard, just need a lot of care. (like you you handle your 75 year old aunties).

So, what is black?

Not long after JS lost his lover, my old 6 years old soulmate departed me too. It is sad as she had travelled and lived with me for all my duration when I lived in Australia. Travelling along with me to many different places all over malaysia, and spent countless nights keeping me accompanied.

She is always with me for all my happy, sad, excited, glorious, and many other walks of life.

Yesterday was the last time i interacted with her. Due to some unwanted issue, she need to follow me to my workplace for a look. I was not entirely happy to bring her there, althought secretly i knew the colleagues would definately be envious. I got her prepared, to pack along with other documents and she went to sleep after that.

The next morning, she quietly followed my up the car. She sits at the passenger seat in total silent. And I still though she must just be more quiet than other days. Upon reaching office, she only sat at the corner without making a sound. After all my morning paperwork chores, I try to wake her up. Who knows, all she is able to do now is sob quietly, then die off. I can hear her silent scream, her brain stopped working immediately. I shock her shouler hard but she remain motionless. There is no more spirits in her eyes. She is gone. She has left me without giving me a chance to say good bye.

I now bid you farewell, my beloved. You have served me well, my Dell laptop.
I blame JS for such an inspiration for this love story from his version.
well, bye bye PC, hello Mac.

It's another year. Another new year. So, how you will spend yours?

Looking back at last year's resolution, I phailed badly.

1. Well, not 6 in 1, but at least the diameter has decresed and I am pretty satisfied with that, more to work out tho.
2. Gotten her a CD player, her ass got raped twice, once by a dumb auntie, once by a hit and run fucking truck. Thank god its still in the shape.
3. Nope, and no where closed. Ended up spending more on gadgets.
4. Nope, still in the same lousy company.
5. Rather than spending less time in front of LCD, I just double my exposure by having 2 monitors. Shit.
6. Yea. Safe and sound.

-----

2008.

Other than those up there to keep on going on, there is the add on list.

1. Get my passport stamped in more than one countries (and Malaysia don't count).
2. Get ideas on how to generate more income, other than spending more effort and getting significantly disproportionately (lower) return with my current company.
3. Better budgeting and spending. Because I have like wtf 5 books bought but have not read yet. Also, to save x amount of money per month without taking them out.
4. Execute my long term plan.
5. To add on from time to time. This is all that I can think of as of now. The weather is too hot.
6. Ah, reduce my carbon footprint, hence prevent global warming. *cough*

Any way, Happy new year, wish you having a smooth year ahead, don't slip.

It is the Halloween again!! woohoo!

Nightmare before Christmas is one of my all time fav. <3
And I came across a few cover version of the original track by groups like Panic! at the disco, Marilyn Manson and Fall out boys.

Below are the comparison of versions by them, seriously, try out Marilyn's. His version is so uber pwnage.

The good old version

The very gentlemen version by Panic! at the disco

And as I said earlier, Marilyn Manson's.

What's this, a song Jack sang when he entered Christmas Town, old version.

And a punk-ed FOB version.

Oh yea, when I mean nightmare ahead, I meant youtube whoring and 56k nightmare :D
Happy Halloween.

The new almost white and gray scheme should be easier to the reading eyes.

Enjoy.

Over the years, people living in this so normally normal world had decided to take a trip to the land that never exist, the creature that only exist in old folk lores and imagination. Those of which are good in writing manage to capture every essence and details and turn them into words, story which will change the reader. Here is a few books I would like to share.

Alice's Adventure in Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass ands What Alice Found There, by Lewis Carroll

The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien.

His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman

The Wind-up Bird Chronicle, by Haruki Murakami

Harry Potter heptalogy byJ.K. Rowling.

Let your imagination go wild, open out and let thinking out of the box happens, all the time.

Wowwww!!! How can this be!! Apple iPod is coming out with another power items which i bet will wow the world another time after the hype of iPhone. This time round, iPod gets another face lift and known as iPod Touch!!

It is adopted from the iPhone technology in which the "touch" is the new controller. On top of that, it can be used to connected to wifi and internet! how godly can that be. Just sickly... geek's obsession. Kinda long list to tell what it can be done, just visit their site and watch the intro video.

And lastly, I own one. XD
